At the end of October, our university took part in international education fairs in the Turkish metropolis, and together with the Liszt Institute in Istanbul, an alumni meeting was also organized for our former students and for prospective applicants interested in Corvinus programmes.

Throughout the autumn, Corvinus University of Budapest is participating in several international education fairs across major cities around the world. In connection with these events, the alumni team is also hosting gatherings in various locations with the aim of increasing the university’s international visibility and strengthening outhe alumni network.

As one of the stops on our autumn international tour, Corvinus was represented at the IEFT Education Fair in Istanbul between 16–19 October, where international students had the opportunity to learn more about our programmes directly from our colleagues. The fairs, held on both the Asian and European sides of the city, attracted great interest — many visitors arrived well-prepared with specific questions about our study opportunities.

Following the fairs, on the afternoon of 20 October, the university, in collaboration with the Liszt Institute in Istanbul, hosted an informal alumni gathering. In addition to former students, international applicants seriously considering Corvinus also joined the event. Participants were welcomed by two successful alumni, Carmen Csernelházi, First Secretary and Consul of the Consulate General of Hungary in Istanbul, and Andrea Gál, Project Coordinator at the Liszt Institute. Afterwards, our colleague responsible for student recruitment gave a presentation introducing the university, its English-language programmes, and available scholarship opportunities.

Don’t miss our next event in at the Hungarian Consulate in München on 26 November 2025. You can register HERE.
