Thank a Teacher is back – Show your appreciation for your teachers!

Is there a teacher who inspired you, supported you, or gave you advice you still remember today? The Thank a Teacher initiative gives you another opportunity to express your appreciation for your teachers’ work.

Running for the second time this year, the Teaching and Learning Support Centre’s Thank a Teacher initiative invites you to send a personal message of thanks to teachers who have played an important role in your university experience.

The programme aims to strengthen the culture of positive feedback and recognition at Corvinus, while highlighting the teaching methods that mean the most to students.

The previous campaign received many personal messages. Noémi Laura Nichter, a student on the Strategic Communication III course, thanked her teacher with these words:

Please never stop teaching and mentoring students! You make studying at Corvinus worthwhile! Thank you so much for always being so helpful and for bringing the same enthusiasm and energy to your lectures, even at 8 in the morning.

The initiative also attracted messages from alumni. Their feedback shows that an inspiring teacher can continue to make a difference even years after graduation.

Sainath Adelli, a Corvinus alumnus, highlighted his experience on the Business Research and Communication course:

You inspired me to communicate better and learn techniques that I still use at work today.

Now it’s your turn to say thank you!

If a teacher inspired you, supported you or made your university years memorable, now is your chance to let them know!

You can send a personal message through the Thank a Teacher form in just a few minutes, with the option to remain anonymous. The initiative is open to both current students and graduates: as an alum, you can also thank your former teachers.
