PUBSIC 2026 Conference at Corvinus – Submit Your Abstract by 24 October

The 8th PUBSIC (Public Service Innovation and Public Policy) Conference will take place from 9–10 February 2026 at Corvinus University of Budapest.

Abstract Submission Deadline: 24 October 2025 

 

The Local Organising Committee at Corvinus is led by Professor György Hajnal (Department of Public Policy), a former member of the Scientific Committee himself. The Honorary Chair of the Scientific Committee is Professor Stephen P. Osborne, from the University of Edinburgh, who is a founding president and one of the most influential researchers of the International Research Society for Public Management (www.irspm.org), the leading scholarly organization in the field of public management. 

 

Year after year, the conference draws outstanding researchers from around the world — with recent editions in Utrecht (2025) and Venice (2024). You can learn more the cutting-edge topics that shaped the recent conferences in the above links. 

 

This year’s conference theme, “Creating Value for Citizens and Society through Public Service Innovation,” will explore how public administration and management can move beyond traditional models and adopt ecosystem approaches to foster co-creation, collaboration, and sustainable development. 

 

Who Should Apply? 
The conference welcomes contributions from: 

  • Senior academics 

  • Early career researchers 

  • Doctoral students 

  • Practitioners in public service and policy innovation 

 

Participants are invited to submit paper abstracts (max. 500 words) that address identified issues in public service innovation, for more details see the Call for Papers. 

 

Abstract Submission Deadline: 24 October 2025 
 

Please send your abstract to pubsic2026@uni-corvinus.hu. All submissions will be reviewed by the Permanent Scientific Committee.
