Me and the Other, Reflected in Each Other: Literary Therapy Group at the Library

The library offers Hungarian-speaking university students a unique opportunity to participate in a six-session bibliotherapy course focused on self-awareness.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

The classes will be conducted exclusively in Hungarian.

In the bibliotherapy course Me and the Other, Reflected in Each Other, led by bibliotherapist Fruzsina Kocsis, you can explore the relationship between the individual and the outside world with the help of literary texts. In a safe, supportive group, you can work on recognizing your own prejudices and stereotypes and learn to see the world from other perspectives.

During the sessions:

  • you will learn new perspectives through shared reading and discussion,

  • you will gain a better understanding of yourself and others,

  • you will experience the power of literature through self-knowledge and acceptance.

If you want to delve deeper into yourself and become more open to others, this is the place for you!

Apply by September 24 noon at the latest at this link: Apply for a literary therapy course

Bibliotherapy is an art therapy method that uses the power of literary texts to aid self-discovery. There are no wrong thoughts, no wrong questions—just conversation in the “here and now.”
