This year we were delighted to welcome both new and returning Corvinus students, who were greeted with a wide range of programmes. 

Of course, the mandatory elements were also included, such as official enrolment, faculty and Student Union briefings. But participants could also enjoy new additions like the Self-Care Zone and the Gellért Festival. 

The Self-Care Zone offered a chance to relax and recharge from Monday to Thursday. On Thursday, 4 September, we held the Gellért Festival for the first time, where, alongside sports activities, students had the chance to get to know a variety of university organisations and services – including Science Shop, Navigator, Makerspace, library and many more. 

As tradition goes, the Student Organisation Expo also took place, giving students the best opportunity to meet different student organisations in person. A new feature this year was the informal roundtable discussions in the garden of the Gellért Campus on Thursday. 

We are glad that so many of you joined us, completed your enrolment, got to know your future classmates, and took part in both the information sessions and community activities. We wish you a successful first semester!
