The accelerated programme offered by Corvinus is unique among the Hungarian universities of economics.

At four study programmes of the Corvinus, you can get your master degree in one year, instead of the usual two, if you collected enough extra credits or relevant work experience in previous years. This opportunity, which is unique among Hungarian higher education institutes in economics, will be available from academic year 2023/24 in the Supply Chain Management, Public Policy and Management, International Economy and Business and the Marketing study programmes.

It is not only the students of the Corvinus University of Budapest who can apply for admission to the accelerated programme, but any student who meets the general admission requirements of the given master programme: they have their bachelor’s degree, a medium-level language exam in English and enough credits. Acceptable professional experience will be any knowledge that fits the required programme: not only work experience, but, for instance, a college programme, specialised training, Students’ Scientific Association (TDK) research in the subject of the programme or any recognizable credit obtained earlier at the Corvinus or other university, or a preparatory course for the entrance exam.

Students planning to attend the one-year master programme should complete extra subjects already in the bachelor programme. Corvinus students may take up 10 per cent credits free of charge over the required credit number. The fee for validation is HUF 50,000 for entering the one-year master programme. For students attending the self-funded programmes, it is an advantage that in this form, they have to pay fees for one year only, but they can apply for the Corvinus Scholarship at the one-year programme, too. You will find more information on the website of the University.
