Applications are open between 1-14 June 2026.
The project focuses on the human-centric dimensions of DeepTech and Industry 5.0, including technologies such as AI, robotics, XR, cobots, and human–machine interaction systems.
The selected research talents will participate in an international programme combining research, mobility, mentoring, and publication-oriented academic work. A central element of the positions is involvement in an intervention research project on human-centric technology development led by Lilla Vicsek (Sociology Department, Corvinus). Participants will contribute to empirical research examining how organisations understand and implement human-centricity in technological development processes, including field-based research conducted during international secondments.
The programme includes international secondments at non-academic partner organisations in Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, and Italy. Applicants from sociology, Science and Technology Studies, psychology of workplace well-being, work organisational behaviour, ergonomics, critical management studies, value-oriented design, and related fields are especially encouraged to apply.
The call particularly welcomes junior researchers and doctoral students interested in the social aspects of technology and work. In line with the project’s commitment to more inclusive participation in DeepTech-related research contexts, applications from women researchers are especially encouraged.
The detailed open call is available here.
