This international recognition confirms the direction set out in our newly adopted Bridge Strategy, which integrates internationalisation, academic excellence, and an enhanced student experience. The result clearly shows that Corvinus is becoming an increasingly integral part of the global academic and economic community, gradually strengthening its vision to evolve from a national champion status to a significant global player” said Bruno van Pottelsberghe upon receiving the award.  

At the award ceremony, the three best business universities in each region were also announced. In Eastern Europe, Corvinus University of Budapest ranked second, with the Prague University of Economics and Business taking first place and the Zagreb School of Economics and Management finishing third. Corvinus has been listed among the top institutions in the region for years in the Eduniversal rankings, which are based on the confidential votes of rectors and deans from the world’s thousand leading business schools.
