Welcome Week 2026: Get to Know Corvinus Before the Semester Begins!
The Welcome Week programme series is designed to help you get to know the university, navigate the most important information, and take your first steps as a member of the Corvinus community before the semester begins.
What can you expect?
During Welcome Week, we are waiting for you with a variety of programmes and useful information:
- Welcome Zone: Pick up your name badge, collect your first Welcome Week stamp, meet our student helpers, and find out more about the day’s programmes.
- In-person enrolment:

If you were admitted through the university’s own admissions process via the DreamApply system, you must complete your enrolment in-person. Please follow the separate instructions sent to you or visit the English For Freshers website for further information.

If you were admitted through the felvi.hu admission process and you are not completing your enrolment through DÁP, you may need to complete the process in person and book an appointment.

- Programme Director’s Welcome Lecture (mandatory): Meet your programme director, learn how your programme is structured, what you should pay attention to during your first semester, and what opportunities will be available throughout your studies.
- Guided Campus Walk: Discover the campuses through an interactive walk, complete exciting challenges, collect Welcome Week stamps, and explore the locations that will soon become part of your everyday university life.
- Welcome Festival at Gellért Campus: Take part in exciting workshops, learn more about student services, meet your fellow students, and discover opportunities that will help you successfully begin your university journey. At Gellért Campus, you can take part in the following activities:
- Ask Me Zone!
- Sports: From climbing and yoga to team games, you can choose from a variety of activities.
- Student services, companies and communities
- Workshops
- Self Care Zone
- Administration and banking

Welcome Week Finale: Opening Ceremony & Celebration
Wrap up Welcome Week with us! Join the Academic Year Opening Ceremony, then continue the celebration at our evening event, where you can kick off your university journey together with new and familiar faces.
