  • Venue: C510

The transformative power of technology and data in the domain of international relations has enjoyed increasing attention both in practitioner and academic circles. The UN-family, its member states as well as business organizations are equally convinced that the solutions offered by digitalization are essential not only for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), but also for increasing efficiency and reducing costs in the aid sector. Inspired by a Bolyai-research, the purpose of this event is to facilitate a discussion on how digital transformation has affected the practices and priorities of non-governmental  organizations and faith-based organizations in Hungary, what challenges and dilemmas they have encountered and how they respond to the emerging risks and opportunities either in their background operations or during project implementation in aid recipient countries.

Moderated by: Beata Paragi (Department of International Relations, Corvinus University)

It is a closed session. If you participated on behalf of a local aid NGO, please contact the organizers at beata.paragi@uni-corvinus.hu.
