As Rector of Corvinus University of Budapest, I am delighted to invite you to the Pre-PIM Workshop 2025.
We are a truly international university and a proud member of the PIM network. For us, international collaboration is not just a value - it’s a daily practice.
We believe the PIM network holds even greater potential, and we are committed to helping it thrive. The Pre-PIM Workshop offers a unique opportunity to come together as partners - not only to exchange ideas, but to co-create the future of our global academic community.
I look forward to welcoming you to Budapest - to our new Gellért Campus - for an inspiring day of connection, reflection, and forward thinking.
As PIM Chair for the EMEA region, and Director of International Alliances at Corvinus University, I’m especially excited to welcome you to this year’s Pre-PIM Workshop.
This gathering is not only a moment to reconnect with colleagues, but also a chance to think boldly about how our network can evolve in response to today’s shifting academic and global landscapes.
The strength of PIM lies in the diversity of its members and the openness to share and collaborate across borders. Let’s use this opportunity to explore new formats, new alliances, and new ideas that will define the next chapter of our partnership.
See you in Budapest!
As we navigate an increasingly complex global environment—shaped by economic shifts, geopolitical uncertainty, rapid technological change, and sustainability challenges—international collaboration among top business schools has never been more vital.
Rooted in the spirit of internationalisation, the PIM network offers a unique platform for meaningful academic partnerships across regions, disciplines, and institutional levels. We believe there are even more opportunities within the network—more ways we can learn from each other and achieve together.
That is why we are dedicating the Pre-PIM event to bringing together PIM partners for thoughtful discussions, idea exchange, and joint exploration of future pathways for collaboration—particularly in the context of emerging technologies and artificial intelligence.
We warmly invite all PIM member institutions to join us in Budapest and help shape the future of our network—together.
