The number of vegans is growing explosively around the world, and Hungary is no exception. How people encounter this lifestyle varies individually. That’s why the Hungarian Vegan Association (MAVEG) has prepared a lecture to help you understand why and how someone might connect with the philosophy of veganism, and what individual and social consequences this can have for both people and the environment. Our goal is to present veganism in a balanced and objective way for current and future professionals, with the help of our credible vegan speakers. We aim to bring vegan and non-vegan individuals and communities closer together, thereby reducing misunderstandings between people with
different worldviews.
With our experienced speakers, Federika Fait and Gergely Zsolnay, you’ll learn about the positive health and environmental impacts of a plant-based diet, and gain insight into animal rights perspectives as well.
Who is this for?
For all university students or professionals working in the following fields: education, hospitality, tourism, nutrition science, marketing and communication, social sciences, sociology, psychology, healthcare, etc.Participation is free but requires registration.
At the end of the lecture, we’ll also offer a light tasting session.
