During the seminar, the panelists will present results from a comprehensive analysis of the

China-related narratives on key social media in Hungary. Using a unique corpus of data gathered via the Gerulata Juno platform on the most popular social networks, they will discuss the key narratives, investigate their origin and the tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) employed in their articulation and dissemination, and determine the related major actors and networks.

The panelists will discuss how Hungary-based Chinese government institutions, Chinese

state-affiliated media, as well as Hungarian actors and media from the pro-government,  opposition, and fringe spheres influence the discourse. Moreover, they will also present their analysis of the acceptance of related narratives beyond the online information space via large-scale public opinion polls in Hungary, Czechia, Poland and Slovakia.

The presentation by panelists will be followed by a Q&A session.
