Waste collectors could support the entire higher education system in Budapest

Waste collection, a mostly Roma business, provides an income for 35,000 disadvantaged people at a time, and their estimated annual turnover is equivalent to the cost of running the entire university sector in Budapest. By recycling, waste collectors also make a major contribution to sustainability goals, Corvinus researchers found.
