This September, our students participated in the NHH International Case Competition held in Bergen, Norway.

Last Friday, on the World Tourism Day, the Tourism Club of Corvinus organized a prestigious case-solving competition for undergraduate students, for the first time in its history.

Between 28 October (Monday) and 3 November (Sunday), the Main Building (E) and the Gellért Campus will be closed, but the teaching areas for examination activities in Buildings C, S will remain open. Although the heating season is starting, the north gate of the Main Building will remain open for easy access to the Gellért Campus.

Paul Milgrom, an expert in auction theory and winner of the 2020 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences also participated in the CMID-2024 conference at Corvinus in early July. In his plenary talk, he spoke about the actual challenges of the water supply market, among others. Taking the opportunity of his visit to Hungary we interviewed him on the current challenges of market design and also asked him about what it looks like if a Nobel-winner is working on real-world issues.
