Enrolment

Enrolment is the first step to become an active student at Corvinus and must be completed in person after your arrival. The University will verify your identity and your required documents. Once your enrolment is completed, you can activate your semester in Neptun, the University’s central student administration system, and register for your courses. We will be writing to all Freshers about accessing Neptun in the coming weeks.

The Official Enrolment Period and Welcome Week is from Monday 31 August to Friday 4 September 2026.

Where & When

  • Building C, Corvinus University of Budapest, Közraktár utca 4-6, 1093 Budapest
  • Monday 31 August – Thursday 3 September 8:30–13:30 daily
  • Friday 4 September 9:00–12:00

Please plan your arrival so that you can complete your enrolment during the official enrolment period.

We recommend completing your enrolment on the same day as your Programme Director’s information session – more info to follow. The Welcome Week timetable will be available from late July. Once published, please check the date and time of your session and register in advance where required.

Enrolling during Welcome Week allows you to:

  • register for your courses from the following day after your enrolment;
  • attend teaching sessions during Intensive Week, which is a compulsory teaching period for some programmes before semester begins. If your programme requires this, you must complete your enrolment by 2 September (Wednesday) and register for the course(s) by 3 September (Thursday) to attend these. Please check whether this applies to your programme – more info to follow here;
  • receive support and get to know the university environment before regular classes begin;
  • participate in Welcome Week events and start the semester with your classmates.

Extended enrolment period

If exceptional circumstances prevent you from arriving during Welcome Week, you can still complete enrolment as follows.

Where & When

  • Student Services Area, Building E, 1st floor, Corvinus University of Budapest, Fővám tér 8, 1093 Budapest
  • Monday 7 September to Thursday 10 September 9:00–16:00 daily

Late Enrolment

If extreme unforeseen circumstances prevent you from enrolling at the times above, you will need to request, and please note that you may not be granted, special permission to enrol late. More information will be published here about what to do in these circumstances.

Required documents:

  • These documents must be provided at the time of enrolment. If any are missing, your student status cannot be established, and the enrolment process cannot be completed.
  • Other documents listed (e.g.: address card, social security / health insurance card, Tax ID card, residence permit): please bring them, if available. If you do not yet have these documents at the time of enrolment, you can obtain them after your arrival in Hungary. Information about obtaining these and how to provide them to fully complete your registration will be provided later.
