We welcome all Corvinus alumni to this informal gathering starting at 6:00 PM, regardless of when they graduated or what programme they completed at the university or any of its predecessor institutions. The evening, expected to continue into the late hours, will offer a relaxed atmosphere for conversation and reminiscing, accompanied by delicious bites, special surprise programmes and live music. At this year’s Annual Alumni Reunion, we will once again present the Alumni of the Year Award in two categories.

The Corvinus Alumni Club is open to anyone who has earned a degree from Budapest Corvinus University or its predecessor institutions, or who has successfully participated in a program offered by Corvinus. This naturally includes predecessor institutions and faculties that were part of Corvinus at the time the degree was awarded.

We are proud that members of our alumni community actively contribute to shaping public life: five ministers and thirteen state secretaries of Hungary’s new government graduated from Corvinus University of Budapest.
As in last year’s event, a strong number of former students took part in the alumni reunion of the Real Estate Management / Specialist in Economics postgraduate programme, where participants also had the opportunity to attend engaging professional presentations.

Funding for social science research is facing serious challenges globally, while competition for scholarships and research positions is growing year by year. Barnabás Szabó graduated from the international studies program at Corvinus, completed his PhD at CEU, and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge Centre for Geopolitics.
