On June 19, 2025, nearly fifty former, current, and graduating students, along with faculty members of the Department of Public Policy, came together at the Gellért Campus of Corvinus University to jointly celebrate the life and community of the program. The event once again demonstrated that the PUMA is not just an academic program, but a living, tightly-knit professional and personal community with shared traditions—an alumni network that has grown into a strong and supportive community.

Zoltán Szekér has gained significant experience in the Hungarian tourism sector at local, destination, and national levels throughout his career. Currently, he is the Sales Director at the Active and Ecotourism Development Center, an organization that actively collaborates with the Tourism Development Manager/Economist training at Corvinus University. Zoltán himself is an alumnus of the specialized training and says that he owes lifelong professional connections to the university’s specialized program.

The OTP-Corvinus Mentoring Programme successfully concluded its third round this spring semester. Its growing popularity is clear: the number of participants has doubled since the programme’s launch. At the closing event held on 18 June at the OTP Bank M12 office building, Corvinus students who took part in the mentoring programme presented their experiences and insights from the past months.

On June 12th, Corvinus hosted one of the largest alumni reunions in its history, where graduates from the past 56 years gathered once again. This year, for the first time, the University presented the Alumni of the Year Award in two categories.
