
Fierce International Competition in the Social Sciences – Interview with Cambridge Researcher Barnabás Szabó
Funding for social science research is facing serious challenges globally, while competition for scholarships and research positions is growing year by year. Barnabás Szabó graduated from the international studies program at Corvinus, completed his PhD at CEU, and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge Centre for Geopolitics. We spoke with the young social scientist about the challenges of building an international academic career and the effects of increasing competition in the field.
