We are continuing our series of international alumni gatherings in the Belgian capital. On November 12, we will welcome our alumni living in Brussels and the surrounding area to an alumni gathering at the Embassy of Hungary in Brussels, accompanied by a reception.
We have established the Corvinus Alumni Scholarship to create a bridge between our graduates and current students. It offers our alumni community the opportunity to give back, support outstanding talent, and actively contribute to the future of the university.
The scholarship fund is financed entirely by donations from our alumni community, with the aim of supporting one or more exceptional students each academic year. Beyond financial benefits, the purpose of the scholarship is to build a stronger, more cohesive Corvinus community where past, present, and future students can inspire and support one another.
We welcome all Corvinus alumni to this informal gathering starting at 6:00 PM, regardless of when they graduated or what programme they completed at the university or any of its predecessor institutions. The evening, expected to continue into the late hours, will offer a relaxed atmosphere for conversation and reminiscing, accompanied by delicious bites, special surprise programmes and live music. At this year’s Annual Alumni Reunion, we will once again present the Alumni of the Year Award in two categories.

The Corvinus Alumni Club is open to anyone who has earned a degree from Budapest Corvinus University or its predecessor institutions, or who has successfully participated in a program offered by Corvinus. This naturally includes predecessor institutions and faculties that were part of Corvinus at the time the degree was awarded.

Corvinus alumna Lili Anna Vindics-Tóth switched from the 3,000-metre steeplechase to the marathon just one year ago. At her third marathon, the European Championships in Birmingham, she already claimed a silver medal. As she approaches her 28th birthday, the past year has been a time of major changes not only in sport but in other areas of her life as well: she moved to the countryside, changed clubs, completed her master’s degree in Management and Leadership at Corvinus University of Budapest, and discovered a new perspective in long-distance running.
After graduating from the Corvinus International MBA programme in 2019, Selim Baykiz continued his career in the technology and business fields, first in Budapest and later in Germany. Today, he works as a Senior Product Manager at Sky, focusing on CRM and software products. In this interview, he reflects on his strong connection to Budapest, the professional value of his Corvinus experience, and the international perspective he gained during the programme.
Horváth Dorka, Corvinus University alumna and founder and CEO of Bookr Kids, has spent the past ten years working to help children develop a love of reading. Following its experience in the Hungarian education market, the company has grown into an international success story: its Bookr Class English language learning software is now available in 30 countries and reaches an estimated 600,000–700,000 children worldwide.
