As in last year’s event, a strong number of former students took part in the alumni reunion of the Real Estate Management / Specialist in Economics postgraduate programme, where participants also had the opportunity to attend engaging professional presentations.

We are proud that members of our alumni community are actively contributing to shaping public life: five ministers in the new Hungarian government graduated from Corvinus. Although the full list of state secretaries has not yet been finalized, several Corvinus alumni are already among those appointed so far.

Emese Kárpáti, Head of HR Solutions at the MOL Group, is currently completing her first year of the Corvinus Executive MBA program. In this interview, we asked her about the experiences she has gained so far, and how the methods learned and the experiences lived during the program have influenced her leadership mindset.

Funding for social science research is facing serious challenges globally, while competition for scholarships and research positions is growing year by year. Barnabás Szabó graduated from the international studies program at Corvinus, completed his PhD at CEU, and is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge Centre for Geopolitics. We spoke with the young social scientist about the challenges of building an international academic career and the effects of increasing competition in the field.
