What’s new in Horizon Europe 2026–2027?

With a budget exceeding €14 billion, this period not only offers significant funding opportunities but also reshapes the logic of proposal design, evaluation and implementation. The changes are described in the General Annexes to the work programme. The calls for proposals are available on the EU Funding&Tenders Portal and in the thematic work programmes, which we have also shared on the intranet. 

The most significant changes have been listed in this document. 

Our University cannot act as project coordinator under Horizon Europe but is eligible to participate as a Beneficiary or as an Associated Partner. Detailed information about our current status is available at this link.
