The program gives students the opportunity to develop their personal and professional skills that cannot be acquired through university courses. Participants can grow as individuals, while actively contributing to solving social problems and developing communities.
We offer Hungarian speaking students four community partners in September:
Amigos a gyerekekért Alapítvány (Amigos for Children Foundation)
A community of friends made up of university students, the Amigos helps sick and troubled children in hospital through language learning, friendship and play. They welcome applications from language-speaking students who would like to make children’s days in hospital more fun.

Papírsárkány Gyermekalapítvány (Papírsárkány Children’s Foundation)
Papírsárkány helps children in children’s homes to reach their full potential. They are looking for volunteers who have a passion for making life better for the little ones and the grown-ups in children’s homes. In the fall term, they are recruiting Pajti (’Buddy’) and Intéző (’Administrator’) volunteers to join their team. The ’Buddies’ work with children in state care in small groups, while the ’Administrators’ help with the administrative and operational tasks of Papírsárkány.

Their aim is to help children become self-actualised, responsible adults in control of their own destiny, who can pass on the knowledge they receive to their own children. The InDaHouse Hungary team is looking for volunteers who believe that every child has an equal right to learn, have good experiences, a positive outlook for the future, and who are willing to make this happen. Applications are open for both field and online positions.
