This is how the Doctoral Award Ceremony went
On 26 June, Corvinus celebrated a significant academic milestone: six candidates completed their habilitation, and 28 doctoral students received their diplomas.
One of the most significant moments in the life of the university is when we confer doctoral degrees. This year, we once again celebrated our doctoral graduates and habilitated scholars with a formal ceremony.
The event was opened by Zoltán Balázs, Chair of the Corvinus Doctoral Council. Speeches were delivered by Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector and Alexandra Bagi, representative of the Doctoral Student Association.
After a short musical performance, the habilitated candidates took their oath and received their certificates, finally, graduates from the university’s four doctoral schools took their doctoral oath and were awarded their diplomas.
Congratulations to all newly conferred doctors and habilitated individuals!
