This is how the 2026 Doctoral Graduation Ceremony took place

One of the highlights of university life is always the occasion when we confer doctoral degrees upon our PhD candidates. On June 25, nearly 50 newly graduated doctors received their doctoral diplomas in a ceremonial graduation event.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

The ceremony was opened by Zoltán Balázs, Chair of the Corvinus Doctoral Council, followed by speeches from Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of the University, István Kónya, Dean of the Corvinus Doctoral Schools, and Áron K. Szabó, representative of the Doctoral Student Association. Tamás Bartus, Vice-Rector, also addressed and congratulated the newly graduated doctors.

Following a piano performance by Richárd Fábián, graduates from the University’s four doctoral schools took the doctoral oath and received their doctoral diplomas before celebrating this important milestone together with their families and loved ones.

Congratulations to all our newly graduated doctors! We are delighted to welcome them to the Corvinus Alumni community.
