The Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association Held Officer Elections

György Boda, emeritus associate professor at Corvinus University of Budapest, was elected as a member of the executive board.

The officer elections took place online on Thursday, 5 February 2026. The Labour Section of the Hungarian Economic Association re-elected József Bagó, editor and section editor of MunkaügyiSzemle.hu, as president for another three-year term. 

Eligible members cast their votes during a one-week online voting period to decide on the composition of the executive board. The board was elected for the next three years without any opposing votes and with one abstention. Among the elected members was György Boda, emeritus associate professor at Corvinus University of Budapest and managing partner of Boda&Partners Ltd. 

György Boda carries out teaching and research activities in the fields of corporate economics, controlling, and strategic planning. He previously served as director of Corvinus Business School and regularly comments on professional issues related to the competitiveness of the Hungarian economy.
