A record number of 49 choirs from all over the country and beyond the border entered the anniversary competition, which took place in November 2025 in the auditorium of Szent Imre High School. The performances were judged by a prestigious jury, chaired by the conductor of the Kodály Choir and associate professor at the Academy of Music. The jury classified the participating choirs into categories based on various professional criteria, with the gold rating being the most prestigious.
The two years of joint work by the student organization, founded in September 2023, has borne fruit: under the direction of Sándor Kabdebó and Tamás Kiss, our university choir won second place in the youth choir category—the largest category in the competition—along with a gold rating.
