Information on the Board of Trustees and Supervisory Board of the Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation
In early July, the Ministry of Education and Children’s Affairs announced an open call for applications for positions on the Boards of Trustees and Supervisory Boards of foundation-managed universities, including Corvinus University. Applications were open until July 18. The Ministry involved the university senates in the decision-making process, asking the institutions to submit their own ranked lists by August 7. Accordingly, the Corvinus Senate held an extraordinary meeting on August 7, where the body established a ranked list of five recommended candidates for the Board of Trustees through a two-round secret ballot, and selected its delegated member for the Supervisory Board. The university informed the ministry of the decision immediately following the meeting.
Based on information from the Ministry, Judit Lannert, Minister of Education and Children’s Affairs, has appointed the members of the Board of Trustees and Supervisory Board of the Maecenas Universitatis Corvini Foundation.

Members of the Supervisory Board:

The Minister, exercising the rights of the founder, has also appointed the Chairs of the Board of Trustees and the Supervisory Board.

The Ministry of Education and Children’s Affairs informed the members that guidelines for their preparation will be sent early this week, and their first task will be to conduct the handover-takeover process. Furthermore, the Ministry indicated to them that, in accordance with the commitment made to secure EU funds, the court registration of these changes will take place on August 31.
