Welcome Week 2025 once again proved to be an intense and eventful start for our new students – marked by engagement, meaningful exchanges, and the first important steps into university life. As in previous years, course registration was a major challenge. It is particularly unfortunate that many International Business students were unable to enroll in the ABWL course due to multiple scheduling conflicts. According to current university regulations (TVSZ), double collisions are no longer permitted. 

Despite these difficulties, we are pleased to see such strong interest in the DSG courses, which will once again start the semester with very high enrollment numbers. The DSG (Deutschsprachiger Studiengang in BWL) is Corvinus’s German-language business program. 

A special moment of the week was the spontaneous “DSG Club Oath” at Pinyó, led by our student János Urbancsek, who has just returned from EBS University – a humorous and unifying conclusion to an intense week of activities. 

Our heartfelt thanks go out to all colleagues who contributed to the success of the week, as well as to the many engaged first-year students who began their studies with enthusiasm and openness.
