Student success at the Cross Run cross-country obstacle race of MATE and MEFOB

Corvinus’ student achieved a placement in the individual category.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Last weekend, a cross-country obstacle race was organised by MATE and MEFOB to promote cross-country running and to provide a running opportunity for students who want to test themselves and have an adventure.

The venue was provided by the Pannon Riding Academy in Kaposvár with a combined course.
The Corvinus University of Budapest was represented by our student Csilla Szendi, who brought us the VI. place in the individual category.

This was her opinion of the competition:
“It was a very exciting and special competition. It was a very interesting and exciting competition. There were 20 different obstacles on a 4km course, which we had to complete twice. The course was on a hillside and curved up and down, so we had to deal with a lot of elevation changes along the way. The course, built up of straw bales, various platforms, ditches, sandbagging, wheel rolling, crawling and muddy obstacles, was a real challenge for everyone, but that’s what made the race enjoyable. By the end, everyone was covered in mud, but the joy was on everyone’s faces.”

Congratulations to Csilla for her first cross-country race and for her good performance in the absolute women’s category!
