Strengthening global academic ties for a sustainable future

We are proud to share that Dr. Tamás Pesuth, Associate Professor at the Institute of Finance, represented the Corvinus University of Budapest at the celebration of the 120th Anniversary of Korea University — one of Asia’s most prestigious universities.
At Corvinus, building strong academic partnerships with leading global institutions is a key priority. Sustainability stands at the heart of both Korea University’s vision and Corvinus University’s renewed strategic focus.
A notable highlight is Korea University’s launch of the Climate Corps (CC) initiative — a collaborative platform that unites higher education institutions to take meaningful, interdisciplinary action against the climate crisis. The CC fosters knowledge sharing, sparks innovation, and drives implementation of real-world solutions.
We are pleased that Dr. Pesuth and three Corvinus students under his mentorship will join the CC program, working alongside peers from more than 30 universities across six continents, including UCL, the National University of Singapore, and Waseda University.
