The article covers what brought the rector to lead the Hungarian institution, the role he envisions for the university in the global higher education market, how important international students are to Corvinus, the industry connections they aim to build, and where he sees the university in the next few years. 

In the special issue, 23 interviews were conducted. Besides the Rector of Corvinus, two other leaders represent the Hungarian higher education sector: Minister Balázs Hankó and Zoltán Szilvássy, Rector of the University of Debrecen, where the largest number of foreign students study in Hungary.
