Corvinus Research Achieves Record-Breaking Performance

In 2025, researchers at Corvinus University recorded the most remarkable year in the institution’s history: a total of 549 publications appeared in internationally recognized journals with the highest rankings (SJR Q1 or Q2). This figure represents an absolute record for the university.
The exceptional performance is reflected not only in the quantity of publications but also in their quality. Of all the highlighted papers, 77%, or 424 publications, appeared in Q1 journals, while 189 papers were classified as D1, meaning they were published in the top 10% of their respective fields. The 125 publications in Q2 journals further strengthen the university’s scientific ecosystem.
Today, Corvinus has developed a research university profile where, alongside quantity, internationally measured quality has become the primary benchmark, securing the institution’s place among the world’s leading academic institutions.
The dates reflect the status as of 29 January 2026.
