At the Dies Academicus 2022 on 11th November 2022, the Association of Friends of Semmelweis University and the Doctoral Schools of Semmelweis University gave Doctoral Excellence Award to Ákos Szabó, one of our faculty member of the Department of Health Policy.

The prize was awarded for outstanding scientific work in the framework of the Doctoral Schools of Semmelweis University and for his first-authored paper which was published in the British Journal of Dermatology. (D1, TOP1 in dermatology, IF (2021): 11.113)
The article provides a comprehensive head-to-head comparison of the measurement properties and informativity of three quality of life outcomes: Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI), DLQI-R and Skindex-16.
He conducted him research under the supervision of Dr. Fanni Rencz.
