Perplexity Enterprise Pro trial at Corvinus

Perplexity provides cited answers to queries by synthesising information from multiple sources, supporting tasks such as literature search, academic writing, and research brainstorming.

Corvinus University of Budapest is launching an institutional trial of Perplexity Enterprise Pro from 16 March to 17 April, offering all staff and students the opportunity to explore the platform. The trial will be complemented by a live demo session on 19 March at 15:30 CET via Teams, where participants can learn more about the tool and its capabilities.

What is Perplexity?

Perplexity is an advanced AI-powered research and knowledge-discovery platform that provides cited responses to user queries by searching the web and synthesising information from multiple sources. It combines the capabilities of various AI models to deliver answers with source citations, making it an effective assistant for academic writing, literature search, brainstorming and other research-related tasks.

Who is eligible for the trial period?

During the trial period, Perplexity Enterprise Pro will be available to all students, faculty, and staff working in the service sector. Access is provided through an SSO-based onboarding solution linked to university email domains. This means that only those who sign up with an email address ending in “@uni-corvinus.hu”, “@stud.uni-corvinus.hu,” or “@seed.uni-corvinus.hu” will have access to the tool.

How to Access Perplexity Enterprise Pro?

Step 1: Visit the Perplexity Homepage

Navigate to the Perplexity website using your web browser (https://www.perplexity.ai/). You will see a panel on the lower right-hand side: “Sign in or create an account”.

Step 2: Select Single Sign-On (SSO)

On this sign-in page, click on “Single sign-on (SSO)”

Step 3: Continue with SSO

On the following page, enter your email manually, then click the “Continue with SSO” button.

Step 4: Start using the tool

Once steps 1–3 are completed, you should have access to the Enterprise Pro version. Check if the Pro sign appears in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

The screen that appears afterwards only asks for additional details, which you are not required to provide. You may therefore simply close this page by clicking the “X” in the top-right corner.
