Our students came third in the AKB Business Champions international case competition

At the end of October, a team of 6 undergraduate students, Anna Pónya, Botond Szmolár, Dávid Kalotai, Laura Antal, Zénó Manó Kovács and Zsanett Bront, represented Corvinus University of Budapest at the AKB Business Champions 2023 international case competition organized by the University of Mannheim. 

The competition consisted of 4 business cases, Sustainability, Innovation, Finance and Strategy. The team had 3 hours to bring solution to each problem and then presented it to an academic jury consisting of leaders of the German business world. Among the top European universities, Corvinus’s team finished 3rd on the Sustainability and Strategy case as well, thus finishing 3rd in the overall ranking behind the University of St. Gallen and the University of Mannheim.
