On behalf of the citizens of the University, the management of the University wishes to thank Dr. Zita Zoltay Paprika for her work of over three decades, that enhanced the reputation of the University, and that she performed as an international director, the head of the ISP, the dean of the Business Administration Faculty and the head of International Relations and Accreditations. Dr. Zoltayné Dr. Paprika Zita played an outstanding role in the strengthening of the international engagement of the University and in the acquisition and maintenance of international accreditations. We wish her the best of luck in her further career!
As of 15 October 2020, the head of the International Relations and Accreditation unit will be Dr. Zoltán Oszkár Szántó.
Dr. Zoltán Oszkár Szántó is an economist-sociologist and professor. Presently he is the head of the Corvinus Institute for Advanced Studies that plays a key role in the international research relations of the University, and he played an important role in its establishment, too. Earlier he was the director of the Sociology and Social Policy Institute, the dean of the Social Sciences Faculty, and Vice Rector for Education and later general Vice Rector. He has significant experience in the field of international university relations. For instance, he was involved in launching an extremely successful international education initiative of the University, the Joint European Master in Comparative Local Development Erasmus Mundus master programme jointly with the universities of Ljubjlana, Regensburg and Trento. As a general Vice Rector, he managed the international relations area in 2018-2019, and one of the key results of this period was the establishment of the MBA programme offered jointly with the Fudan University..
