New Dean of Specialist Postgraduate and Executive Degree Programmes at Corvinus

Rohit Joshi serves as Dean of Specialist Postgraduate and Executive Degree Programmes at the university from May 12, 2026. 

Rohit Joshi previously served as Dean of Academic Programs at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong (IIM Shillong), where he oversaw curriculum innovation, program quality, and institutional strategy for postgraduate and executive education. He also held the position of Director of the IIM Shillong Foundation for Incubation and Enterprises (IIMSFIE), established to foster entrepreneurship and innovation and promote industry-academia collaboration. As a member of the Board of Governors of IIM Shillong, he played an active role in strategic decision-making at the highest level. 

One of the notable achievements of his leadership was successfully preparing the institution for the visits of the Peer Review Teams (PRT) associated with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditations. He also mentored more than 2,000 professionals in executive education and was involved in developing international collaborations, including executive education initiatives in China. 

He earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and completed his postdoctoral research at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research interests include operations management, quality management, supply chain management, business statistics, quantitative methods, and information systems. 

He has participated as a speaker at numerous international conferences, and his publications have appeared in prestigious peer-reviewed journals. His professional work is characterized by a comprehensive approach to institutional development that aligns academic excellence with practical relevance and sustainable growth.
