International Workshop within the “Competences for Future Logistics in V4 Countries” Project

On 25–26 November, we successfully held the International Workshop of the “Competences for Future Logistics in V4 Countries” project in Budapest, bringing together students and academic staff from all four Visegrad countries.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

Throughout the two day program, participants engaged in collaborative sessions, professional discussions, and hands-on activities aimed at exploring the future skill needs of the logistics sector. During the workshop, students worked in international teams and solved scenario-based tasks, exploring practical challenges related to the future of logistics. The programme was further enriched by guest presentations from Knorr-Bremse (Tamás Demus) and Hungaropharma (Balázs Bebesi), providing participants with valuable industry perspectives and real-world insights. In addition to the professional content, the event offered opportunities for cultural exchange and informal networking, strengthening long-term cooperation among the partner institutions.

The workshop served as an excellent platform for cross-border knowledge exchange, networking, and strengthening long-term cooperation among the partner institutions. The project is co-financed by the governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the Fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

The project team from Corvinus University includes members of the Institute of Operations and Decision Sciences: Zsolt Matyusz, Judit Gáspár, and Adrienn Munkácsi. Their work was supported by Mónika Miskolcziné Gábriel (Institute of Operations and Decision Sciences) as facilitator and Gréta Maró as project manager.
