The Corvinus–OTP Bank mentoring programme launches for the fourth time

On 15 October, the joint mentoring programme of Corvinus University of Budapest and OTP Bank was launched for the fourth time, bringing together sixteen mentor–mentee pairs for the next four months.

The initiative aims to provide Corvinus economics and finance bachelor’s and master’s students with practical experience, personal career support and valuable long-term professional connections.

Senior executives of OTP Bank participate as mentors in the programme, including András Becsei, Deputy CEO (Retail Division), Gábor Galovics, Head of the Budapest Region, and Imre Bertalan, Managing Director for HR. Over the course of four months, students work closely with their mentorssetting goals, receiving feedback and gaining experience in real business situations. Through the mentoring relationship, they gain insight into executive decision-making processes, everyday operations and the core values of corporate culture. Based on previous experience, many of the professional relationships formed during the programme continue well beyond the mentoring period – in fact, some former mentees have since joined OTP Bank as employees.

The fourth edition of the mentoring programme once again proves that the partnership between Corvinus and OTP Bank not only supports studentspersonal and professional growth, but also contributes to building sustainable careers and strengthening the next generation of business professionals.
