Judit Nagy: The key to student success lies in their interpersonal relationships

At Corvinus University of Budapest launched Navigator Programme in 2023, an integrated student success ecosystem that combines competency assessment, personalized development planning and faculty mentoring. Since its launch, students have completed the assessment more than 3,000 times, providing valuable insights into student development patterns while helping individuals make more informed decisions about their studies and future careers. While these tools create valuable opportunities, technology alone does not drive student success. 

According to Judit Nagy, students need trusted human relationships that help them interpret information, reflect on choices and navigate uncertainty. Unlike many mentoring initiatives that rely primarily on alumni networks or external coaches, Navigator places faculty members at the centre of the mentoring process.
