What’s it like to study in Budapest as an international student? Corvinus students shared their views

Serena Canka from Albania, Tala Salman from Jordan, and Saba Gagoshidze from Georgia shared their experiences of living in Budapest and studying at Corvinus University. All three are scholarship students, and they said the university’s high academic standards were a major reason for choosing Corvinus. They felt the education would give them a solid foundation to succeed on the international job market.
“My first impression of the university was at the opening ceremony, and I immediately thought, ‘Wow, I made a great choice,’” said Saba, who was captivated by the historic building of the former Main Customs House.
The students also spoke about their finances, part-time work opportunities during their studies, and what they enjoy about the Gellért Campus – especially its proximity to nature and the many perfect picnic spots nearby for relaxing between classes.
