With the support of the Péter Horváth Stiftung, the latest edition of the Controlling textbook—originally authored by the professor—has been translated into Hungarian. The electronic version of the book is freely available to students, lecturers, and researchers of Corvinus University, as well as to students at all higher education institutions across Hungary. The textbook is one of the most widely used and most frequently translated foundational works in the field of controlling, serving as a key reference not only in education but also in business practice worldwide.

The launch event for the new Hungarian edition took place at the Rooftop Café of the Corvinus Gellért Campus. Among the attendees were Academician and Emeritus Professor Attila Chikán, Associate Professor Ágnes Szukits, Head of Department, and Professor János Lukács, among others.

For more than two decades, Prof. Dr. Péter Horváth and his foundation have been supporting research and educational initiatives connected to Corvinus University. The Péter Horváth Stiftung was the founding sponsor of the Budapest Performance Management Research Center (2002) and the Center for Family Businesses, and has enabled numerous international research projects and higher education conferences to take place at the university.

The publication of this new Hungarian translation marks another milestone in the long-standing collaboration between the university and the professor and represents an important step in advancing the fields of controlling and performance management in Hungary.

The Hungarian-language electronic edition of the textbook is available for free here.
