At Corvinus, we have a long-standing tradition of celebrating our colleagues’ academic progress and welcoming new lecturers, researchers, and professors emeriti. Since last November, we have brought a more personal touch to this tradition by presenting the certificates at the monthly Senate meetings. This enables the university leadership to congratulate everyone in person, right after their appointment.  

Last time, we celebrated the arrival of the following colleagues: 

Nadine Ansorg – Assistant Professor (Institute of Global Studies) 

She holds a degree and a PhD in Political Science from the Otto Suhr Institute of Political Science at Freie Universität Berlin. Her research focuses on institutional reform in post-conflict societies, security sector reform, peacebuilding and conflict analysis. She is the author of several books and numerous articles published in international academic journals, including the Journal of Peace Research and the Journal of Global Security Studies. She also has extensive teaching and leadership experience: from 2021 to 2023, she served as Head of the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent, and previously held leadership roles in postgraduate education and the MA in International Conflict Analysis. At Corvinus University, she is active not only as an Associate Professor, but also as Director responsible for research and academic community development. 

Adrian Josef Amon – Assistant Lecturer (Institute of Strategy and Management) 

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Business and Advertising Psychology from Hochschule Mittweida, before continuing his studies in the double degree Master’s programme of Corvinus University of Budapest and the University of Passau in International Management and Marketing, and Management and Leadership. He is currently a PhD candidate at the Institute of Strategy and Management at Corvinus. His research interests include cooperative organisations, democratic governance, and processes of organisational degeneration and regeneration. His professional achievements include several academic publications, presentations at international conferences, a research fellowship in Montreal, and the Best Paper Award for young and emerging scholars at the ICA-CCR 2025 conference.
