Alumni of the Year Award to Be Presented Again in June

At the Annual Alumni Reunion on June 11, Corvinus University will once again recognize its outstanding alumni, following last year’s tradition. With the Alumni of the Year Award, the university honors former students who, alongside achieving excellence in their professional careers and/or making a significant social impact, have also given back to their alma mater community.

A new feature this year is that not only current members of the university, but also members of the alumni community can submit nominations for the award.

Nominations for the Alumni of the Year Award are open until May 3, 2026, in two categories. All members of the university community—including staff, faculty, students, and alumni—are eligible to nominate former students. Accordingly, alumni may also nominate fellow alumni for the award.

Nominations must include a justification and will be evaluated by a five-member committee, which will decide on the award recipients.

Outstanding alumni will be recognized in the following two categories:

Professional Excellence Alumni Impact Award
This category recognizes an alumnus or alumna whose remarkable career and/or social contributions have had a significant impact on their profession and environment, and who has actively contributed to the development of the Corvinus community.

Next-Generation Alumni Impact Award
This category is awarded to an alumnus or alumna under the age of 30 who, through their professional and social activities as well as their commitment to the university community, sets an example for future generations of Corvinus students.

The Alumni of the Year Awards in both categories will be presented by the Rector of Corvinus University on June 11 at the Annual Alumni Reunion.

Nominations can be submitted via the form until May 3, 2026.
