The ESG Club event was held again at Corvinus

On the afternoon of 21 May 2026, the ESG Club held its latest event at Corvinus University of Budapest, open to both current and alumni students of the ESG programmes.
Budapesti Corvinus Egyetem

The ESG Club was launched in 2025 with the aim of establishing a lasting tradition. Its goal is to enable not only current students enrolled in the ESG postgraduate programmes, but also members of the alumni community, to build and maintain vibrant, long-term personal and professional relationships, while discussing current challenges, emerging directions, and changes in the ESG field.

The event was organized and opened by Ágnes Zsóka and Zsófia Nemes, directors of the ESG training programmes. This was followed by a roundtable discussion entitled “ESG Community: One Year On – What Has Changed, and Where Do We Go From Here?” As part of the professional program, the discussion was moderated by Katalin Ásványi, Corvinus University’s Dean for Sustainability. During the panel, Zsófia Reizinger (BDO), István Salgó (BCSDH), and György Szege (MBH) shared their perspectives on how regulatory expectations and market trends are shaping companies’ sustainability and ESG-related efforts and activities. They also reflected on how Corvinus’s ESG programmes contribute to these processes and how they can continue to create value in the future.

The panel discussion was followed by an informal networking session, during which conversations and connections between alumni and current students continued over light refreshments.

The high level of interest and the excellent atmosphere strongly encourage us to continue this tradition by regularly hosting ESG Club events.

We will continue to inform all alumni and current students about upcoming events through our usual channels, including email and LinkedIn.

Thank you very much for participating, we look forward to seeing everyone again at our next event!
