Apply for the Corvinus – Mastercard Scholarship
The aim of the scholarship is for Mastercard Magyarország Kft. and Corvinus University of Budapest to support full-time students enrolled in Hungarian- or English-taught programmes, who have Hungarian language skills at a working (conversational) level, based on their academic performance and their results in the motivation interview. The total scholarship fund is HUF 4,000,000.
Eligible programmes:
- Bachelor’s programmes: Applied Economics; Business Administration and Management; International Business Economics; Finance and Accounting
- Master’s programmes: Actuarial and Financial Mathematics; Economic Analysis, and Finance
- Undivided programme: Economic and Financial Mathematical Analysis
The scholarship is awarded for ten (10) months in total:
- five (5) months in the autumn semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, and
- five (5) months in the spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
You can apply if:
- you are enrolled in one of the programmes listed above,
- you have completed at least four closed active semesters by the time you submit your application,
- you have active student status at the time of application, and
- if you are a self-financed student, your tuition fee is paid by you (not by a third party, e.g. an employer), and you do not receive any other scholarship that covers tuition fees (e.g. Stipendium Hungaricum or the Diaspora Higher Education Scholarship). The Corvinus Scholarship does not exclude eligibility.
