The new academic year is fast approaching, and with it, we warmly welcome all members of the University to the formal opening ceremony, followed by a casual party, which will be held this year in Building E. 

The event marks the beginning of the academic year, and it is also the occasion for the first-year students to take their oath and officially join the community of university citizens in a ceremonial manner. 

The ceremony will feature speeches by Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of the Corvinus University of Budapest, and the presentation of the Pro Futura award, established by the Maecenas Universitatis Corvini foundation, which maintain the University. 

Gergely Mészner, President of the Student Union, will also greet the new academic year and students, followed by performances not only from the Corvinus Crescendo choir but also by a talented student. 

The event will be held in English. 

Opening Festival of the Academic Year 

We will also celebrate the beginning of the academic year with a more casual event. After the ceremony, join us for a variety of programmes. You can look forward to team-building games organised by ÖCSI and the Student Union, selfie stations, an interactive DJ corner, and refreshing cocktails. 

From 8 PM, DJ DannyBetter will take over to set the mood, along with more exciting surprises.
