Four Continents, Three Cases: Inside CUBE 2026

Throughout the competition, participants worked on three business cases representing completely different industries. Before arriving in Hungary, teams received a pre-case focused on improving the customer experience at Auchan. The challenge continued with a visit to the Auchan logistics centre, where students gained first-hand insight into the operational processes behind the strategic recommendations they had developed.
During the week, teams also worked on Bábolna Bio’s international expansion strategy and Allianz’s capacity growth challenge. From retail and pest control to the insurance sector, the cases tested both the creativity and adaptability of the participants.
Alongside the competition, participants also had the opportunity to explore Budapest through social events, dinners and city programmes, where professional connections often turned into genuine friendships.
What Was It Like Behind the Scenes?
In the background, Corvinus students organised and coordinated the entire event, managing logistics, communication and the full weekly schedule of all 15 international teams. Through their work, they created an international experience that connected students and institutions from around the world, while representing Corvinus and building long-term professional relationships.
