Help Shape the Future of Higher Education in Hungary

As part of the preparation of Hungary’s new Higher Education Strategy and Higher Education Act, the Ministry of Education and Children’s Affairs is organising a student workshop. Dr. Sándor Katz, State Secretary for Higher Education, invites the University’s students, faculty members, and education and research support staff to take part in a collaborative discussion. During the 90-minute session, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences and ideas through a combination of plenary and small-group discussions on topics including:
- Access, student choices, and creating opportunities: how can higher education be made as widely accessible as possible?
- Knowledge and programs of the future: what knowledge, skills, and forms of learning do students expect from higher education?
- Student-centricity: what makes a higher education institution truly student-centric?
- Student success and support: what conditions are necessary for students to complete their studies successfully?
Date: Wednesday, 12 August 2026, 10:00–11:30
Venue: Ministry of Education and Children’s Affairs (1055 Budapest, Szalay Street 10–14.)
